TMC MLA removed from Chairman Post of Nadia’s Primary School Council

Although no explanation was provided in the notification notifying his departure, sources claimed he reportedly accepted payments for teacher transfers. The district magistrate will continue to oversee the position until further notice, per a notification sent out on Thursday.

Bimalendu Sinha Roy, a member of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) from Karimpur, has been demoted from his position as head of the Nadia District Primary School Council.

Despite the fact that no explanation was provided in the notification notifying his departure, sources claimed he reportedly accepted payments for teacher transfers. The district magistrate will continue to oversee the position until further notice, per a notification sent out on Thursday.

“I have been told to undertake this job until further order,” Nadia DM Shashank Shetty told reporters. This problem is being investigated by the district school inspector.

“I have received a letter in this regard. I will comply with it. It is normal to appoint someone new to the post from time to time. I have no issues regarding this. But the allegations against me are completely false,” Roy told reporters.

“It is completely an administrative decision, the party has no role in such matters. The allegations against him are subjected to verification and investigation.”
