The National Human Rights Commission requested a report in response to the death of Lalon Sheikh, one of the Bogtwi murder suspects, at the CBI temporary camp at Rampurhat. The District Superintendent of Police, Birbhum District Magistrate, and CBI Director have all been asked to submit a report. The reports from the autopsy and inquest have also been sought.
A site plan of the scene of the incident has been requested. Lalan Sheikh’s post-mortem report has already been made public. According to the findings, Lalon Sheikh was strangled to death. The post-mortem report noted numerous blunt force injuries to the body. These markings are known as “Superficial Bruises” in medical terminology. Experts at the port determined that the pipe was 6.5 feet above the surface of the ground. Lalan is five feet, five inches tall. A plastic instrument was placed close to Lalon’s feet. There has already been an equal-weight load test. For the load test, a 65–70 kilogramme mannequin was used. The family has received a number of questions in response to the passing of Lalon Sheikh, one of the defendants in the Bogtui murder. The family asserted that Lalan was entirely naked when they first met him. He cut out his tongue. Blood had left significant stains on the legs. The family has accused the CBI of murder with intent.
