Assam: Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal interacts with the Youth at Makum College

GUWAHATI, JAN 6: The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush, Sarbananda Sonowal interacted with the students at the ongoing Silver Jubilee Celebration of Makum College in upper Assam Tinsukia.

The Minister also visited the Padadhwani Town Festival where he had another lively interaction with the youth of region.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal said, “Schools & Colleges are the temples of knowledge and practice ground for the building our lives. Their contribution is instrumental in giving shape to the character of the students as itilluminates knowledge in the society. As a leading educational institution of Tinsukia district, Makum College has been playing an important role in shaping the human resources. I am confident that this wonderful institution will continue its illustrious journey in shaping the human resources for the growth of the society.”

Adding further, Sonowal said, “Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister  Narendra Modi ji, the students community have a wonderful opportunity to access the world class educational institutions who have started opening up campuses in the country. The youth should seize this opportunity to build capacity and enrich skills which will enable our rich talent pool to contribute towards building our new India. As the Prime Minister Modi ji has emphasized, we must work with sincerity and dedication during this Amrit Kaal. The role of the youth in this endeavor will be most important with far reaching impact.”
