According to head coach Nehra, Gujarat Titans are searching for a quick bowler at auction.

The head coach of the defending IPL champion Gujarat Titans, Ashish Nehra, has stated that the team will want to sign a fast bowler at the auction, which will take place in Kochi on December 23.

Nehra told reporters on Friday, “Even if you win, still you make a few modifications as needed. “In a small auction, you make changes as needed. We are no different. We might need a fast bowler.

“Since we haven’t released many players, we don’t have many requirements. There are also two or three domestic openings left. You won’t [always] get the player you desire, though. Nine other teams remain. Thus, it’s crucial that you pay attention when that participant enters the auction.

The Titans, who earlier this year won the IPL in their inaugural season, were led by Nehra and Hardik Pandya.

Everyone is here to participate, but you want to win as a team every year, Nehra remarked. One winner will be chosen, however the difference between winning and losing is quite small.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz, a keeper-batsman from Afghanistan, and Lockie Ferguson, a fast bowler from New Zealand, were moved by Titans to Kolkata Knight Riders last month.

There are several players who are international T20 captains but are not selected for the IPL, according to Nehra, who added that Gurbaz is a strong player who has switched franchises.
